Adam Flaherty Was First Voice of
FVWBL Radio
ROSEVILLE, MINN. -- Friday night marked the
first ever FVWBL off-season event. It marked the beginning
of another era for the FVWBL, as well. FVWBL Radio debuted
for numerous interviews and brought play-by-play action of
the championship game of the Griffey tournament.
FVWBL Radio voice Adam Flaherty admitted to
being nervous at first, but seemed to settle in as the night
went on. He proved to be a very knowledgeable baseball mind
as well as having great experience in Griffey baseball. His
coverage included post-game recaps, interviews, and commentary.
Bill Madigan added some color commentary to
the broadcast doing a nice job of his own. It is expected
that both he and Flaherty will return for future broadcasts.
FVWBL Radio's next expected programming will
be in the coming weeks when the off-season events shift to
a ping-pong tournament.
